On July 21, 2019, fifty moms of children with Down syndrome came together for high tea at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport in Richmond to share our experiences with Down syndrome, celebrate friendships and feel inspired.

Our cups were overflowing as we watched these moms mingle and expand their tribe. We are extremely grateful these moms chose to spend an afternoon with us. It was an incredible event and we can't wait to do it again!

Thank you to the Fairmont Vancouver Airport for providing a beautiful space and an incredible tea service for the event. A special thank you to Tamara Taggart for being our honoured guest and providing words of encouragement for each of us to continue advocating within our community.

There was a door prize and raffle with all proceeds donated to Baskets of Love Down Syndrome Support Society.

Check out the GALLERY for photos from the event with thanks to Larry Leslie.

Until next time, thank you!
